CBC (Cannabichromene)
Pronunciation: /kan-uh-bih-KROH-meen/
Definition
CBC is a non-intoxicating minor cannabinoid found in trace amounts in most hemp varieties.
CBC was first isolated in 1966 and is one of the lesser-studied cannabinoids. It's typically present at less than 0.5% in mature hemp.
Early research suggests CBC may have anti-inflammatory properties and may contribute to the entourage effect, but commercial CBC-isolated products are rare.
