10 Best CBD Oils of 2026: Tested, Ranked, Reviewed

Charlotte's Web is the brand that put hemp-derived CBD on the map. Their original full-spectrum oil is rigorously tested and well-formulated. We had them at $0.10–0.15 per mg in our June ranking and that is no longer right — they have cut hard. The line is now sold as Daily Care, having absorbed the old Original Formula and Maximum Strength naming, and the 100mL Daily Care 60MG bottle is $214.99 for 6,000mg — $0.036 per mg, within striking distance of our own top tier rather than 3–4× it. Joy Organics is one of the few brands carrying USDA Organic certification on the full product, not just the hemp. They publish detailed COAs and their broad-spectrum line is genuinely THC-free. Our old $0.08–0.12 per-mg figure was well off: their 2,250mg broad-spectrum bottle is $62.97, or $0.028 per mg — effectively tied with botanCBD's best tier, and the closest any brand on this list comes to us on THC-free value. The real difference is the ceiling. Joy stops at 2,250mg per bottle; if you dose high you will be rebuying often. Their flavored line (orange bliss, tranquil mint, summer lemon) is well-reviewed and the smaller 450mg bottle is the expensive way in at $0.054 per mg.

Medterra carries the U.S. Hemp Authority seal and produces an isolate, broad-spectrum, and full-spectrum line. Their COAs are published per-batch. The catalog has been reorganized since our last pass — the line is now sold as Daily Relief (isolate), Enhanced Relief (broad spectrum), and Max Relief (full spectrum, with a stated 60mg THC per bottle, so not drug-test safe). Current pricing runs roughly $0.038–0.065 per mg, better than the $0.07–0.10 we had. Read that range carefully: the low end reflects a 15% discount that appears to be more or less permanently on. Less flavor variety than the top three; reliable rather than exciting.

CBDistillery sells at scale and has long traded on being the value pick. That is less true than it was: at $0.038–0.056 per mg on the current Relief + Relax line, they are now mid-pack here, and Lazarus, Bluebird, and NuLeaf all beat them outright. Verified August 24, 2026: $27.99 for 500mg, $47.99 for 1,000mg, $95.99 for the 2,500mg broad-spectrum bottle, and $240 for the 5,000mg. They publish COAs and the 30%-off subscription is where the real price lives. Trade-off is taste (relatively bland), inconsistent flavor execution, and customer-service reviews that skew lower than the top of the list.

Credit where it is due: Lazarus is the cheapest CBD on this list and it is not close. Their 4oz (120mL) Organic CBD Tincture is $120.00 for 6,000mg — $0.020 per mg, about a quarter below what botanCBD charges. Their high-potency 300mg/mL bottle goes further still: $60 for 9,000mg, or $0.0067 per mg, though that one is isolate rather than full spectrum. On top of that they run one of the only published assistance programs in the category (60% off for verified veterans, people with long-term disabilities, and low-income households, re-confirmed August 2026; a DD-214 or VA card gets a veteran approved in a day or two). The product is solid — full spectrum, U.S.-grown hemp, in-house manufacturing. If per-mg price is the only thing you are optimizing, buy Lazarus. They sit at #6 rather than higher because full spectrum means detectable THC, the 4oz format is a commitment, and their THC-free option is isolate rather than broad spectrum.

Cornbread sources from Kentucky hemp flower (no stalks, no biomass shortcuts) which produces a notably different cannabinoid profile. USDA Organic. We had them at ~$0.10 per mg; the current line is $74.99 for 1,500mg and $49.99 for 750mg, so $0.050–0.067 per mg — still the priciest tier of this list on a per-mg basis, but half again cheaper than we last reported. You are paying for the flower-only sourcing and a real story behind it. Direct geographic competitor to botanCBD — both family-owned, both Kentucky-adjacent.

NuLeaf was one of the first national CBD brands and built its reputation on selling essentially one thing. That is no longer strictly true — there is now a THC-free broad-spectrum bottle and CBN and CBG blends alongside the original full-spectrum oil — but the focus still shows in how consistent the product is. Two corrections to what we said in June: they are not a single-product brand any more, and their pricing is not mid-pack. The 3.38oz 6,000mg bottle at $112.23 is $0.019 per mg, third-cheapest here and comfortably under botanCBD. Trade-off is the same as it ever was: no flavored options, which puts off taste-sensitive users, and the small 900mg bottle is poor value at $0.058 per mg.

Aspen Green's certification stack is among the most rigorous in the industry. The product is excellent — Colorado-grown, full-spectrum, high quality. Our $0.12+ per-mg figure was badly out of date: their 3,000mg bottle is $144.99, or about $0.048 per mg, and their subscription takes it lower still. That moves them from 'expensive boutique' to 'fairly priced for what the certifications cost to maintain'. Trade-off now is mostly the limited flavor selection.

Bluebird has been around since 2012 — among the longest-running U.S. CBD brands. The product is well-made and well-tested; the brand feels stuck in 2018 aesthetics. It also turns out to be the cheapest bottle on this entire list: Max Strength is 6,000mg for $83.97, about $0.014 per mg. One caveat worth stating plainly, because it is easy to miss — that is the price with a 30%-off site coupon applied, and Bluebird's list prices are meaningfully higher. Judge them on the coupon price only if the coupon is still there when you check. Reliable choice for users who prioritize substance over presentation.
