What she does here
Carrie is one of the owners of botanCBD. Her name is on the email that answers your order questions, and she reads every customer review before it goes live — including the ones that sting. When a page on this site describes how people fit a bottle into their week, it is because she has heard it first, in her inbox, hundreds of times.
Two different things carry her name here, and you should know which is which. The chat bubble in the corner of this site is an AI trained on her answers. The inbox is a person. We wrote a whole page about that distinction rather than let you work it out three messages in. Meet Carrie →
botanCBD has been family-owned since 2018. There is no ticket queue and no overnight shift — email goes to one of the owners, and replies usually land the same day and always within one business day.
What she is not
Carrie is not a doctor, a pharmacist, a nurse, or a nutritionist, and she holds no clinical or scientific credential. We are not going to invent one for a byline. What she has is years of customer conversations at a company that grows, makes, and ships the product — a real qualification for the questions this site answers, and not a qualification for the questions it refuses to answer.
Whether a hemp product belongs alongside a medication or a diagnosis is a question for your doctor or your pharmacist. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no page here will tell you what CBD will do to your body.
How a page gets reviewed
- Every claim traces to something we can show you
Cannabinoid content comes off the batch COA. Sourcing and manufacturing claims come from the facility. Prices and strengths come from the live catalog, not from a writer's memory.
- No page says what CBD will do to you
We write about serving sizes, timing, and routines: how much, when, and which bottle. That is what we can speak to honestly, and it is the whole of what we claim.
- Ratings come only from verified buyers
Customer ratings are computed from orders we shipped. Where we score another brand, we say plainly that it is our editorial assessment and we print the criteria above the ranking.
- Anything she cannot check comes out
If a sentence cannot be traced to a lab report, the catalog, or a published source, it gets cut. Not softened — cut.
