- 1Start low
10–25 mg of CBD once a day is where most adults start. A full dropper is about 17 mg on the 500mg bottle, 50 mg on the 1,500mg, 100 mg on the 3,000mg, and 200 mg on the 6,000mg.
- 2Hold it under your tongue
Release the oil under your tongue and wait a full minute before you swallow. That one minute is the single biggest factor in how quickly and consistently the dose lands.
- 3Give it three to five days
Take the same amount at the same time each day before you change anything. CBD's effect builds with steady use — a single dose tells you far less than a week of them.
- 4Adjust by 5–10 mg
If you don't notice anything after a week, go up 5–10 mg and hold there another week. Stop increasing once you get the effect you want. More is not better.
- 5When to take it
Sublingual CBD lasts roughly 4–6 hours. Split the day's amount between morning and afternoon if you want steady daytime coverage, or take it 30–60 minutes before bed for evening wind-down. Taking it with a meal that has some fat in it helps absorption.

Four strengths — which one do I buy?
Start at 500mg if you have never taken CBD: a full dropper is about 17 mg, so the usual 10–25 mg starting amount is easy to measure. The bigger bottles are the same oil at a higher concentration — about 50 mg per dropper at 1,500mg, 100 mg at 3,000mg, and 200 mg at 6,000mg — and each step up costs less per milligram than the one below it. Buy the strength that matches the amount you already take, not the biggest bottle on the shelf.
What does THC-free actually mean here?

I'm drug-tested at work. Is this the right bottle?
botanCBD doesn't make drug-test claims. Any CBD product can contain trace cannabinoids; if you're tested, talk to your employer or testing program before use.
What do the three flavors taste like?
Natural is unflavored — that plant smell is the hemp terpenes themselves. Fresh Mint and Peruvian Lime are real essential oils, not sweeteners, so they soften the hemp note rather than covering it. Nothing in the range is sweetened.
How do I take it?

How long does a bottle last?
Divide the bottle by your daily amount. At 25 mg a day: 20 days from 500mg, 60 from 1,500mg, 120 from 3,000mg, 240 from 6,000mg. At 50 mg a day, halve each of those.
How should I store it?
Cap on, upright, room temperature, out of direct sunlight. No refrigeration needed. Keep it up and out of reach of children and pets, the same as any supplement.
