I started botanCBD from our Cincinnati home after we couldn't find a CBD brand we'd actually put in our own bodies — much less hand to our parents or recommend to the people we love.
What we found in 2018 was either gas-station CBD with no testing and questionable sourcing, or premium-brand CBD with great marketing and a price tag that didn't reflect the actual cost of making it well. We thought there was a third path — vertically integrated, family-owned, sourced from the Kentucky and Ohio hemp farms we already had relationships with, manufactured to cGMP standards, and priced honestly.
Every bottle ships from a facility I walk through. Every formula was sniffed, sipped, and re-formulated until it passed our own daily-use test. When you reply to a botanCBD email, you're writing to one of us — not a help desk.

Why we do this
We have sons and daughters, aunts and uncles, and friends and relatives who struggle with real pain. Marathon training that wears on the joints. Insomnia from shift work in healthcare. The everyday-stress floor that creeps up on parents and shift workers and people on call. We can and will help them with plant-based products that work — and we can make those products available to everyone else at a price that doesn't require choosing between wellness and the rest of life.

What we won't compromise on

- ✓Per-batch third-party COA testing. The batch number is on the bottle. You can look up the specific lab report for the bottle in your hand.
- ✓cGMP-certified manufacturing. Pharmaceutical-grade quality controls at every step. We won't cut corners on process because the cost of being wrong is too high.
- ✓Honest pricing. Our per-mg cost is one of the lowest verifiable in the premium tier. We can do that because we control the supply chain — and because the margin we don't take goes to making the product affordable enough to use daily.
- ✓Owner-level customer support. Email goes to one of us. No escalation queue. No \"speak to my manager.\" If we can't answer your question quickly, we'll get on a call.
