Meet Carrie

Her name is on the emails you get from us and on the chat bubble in the corner of this site. Two different things wear that name, and you deserve to know which one you're talking to. So here it is, plainly.

The chat bubble

AI Carrie is an AI. It says so.

The little chat window is software. It introduces itself as AI Carrie, wears an AI badge in its header, and we'd rather tell you that on this page than let you work it out three messages in.

It's trained on the answers Carrie actually gives — the questions we hear every week about full versus broad spectrum, drug tests, dosing, flavors, what ships when. For those, it's quick and it's right, and it can point you at the lab report for the exact batch you're asking about.

What it can't do is know your body, read your chart, or stand in for your doctor. If a question needs a person, it hands the conversation to one — that's the next section.

A person is one tap away

Inside the chat there's a button that reads Get a real reply from Carrie. Tap it, leave your email, and the conversation goes to a human here — with you copied, so you can see exactly what we saw. You can skip the chat entirely and write to [email protected] or call 513-696-9255, Monday through Friday, 9–5 Eastern.

Either way, the reply comes from one of the owners. That's not a service-level promise we invented for this page — it's how this company has run since 2018. There is no ticket queue, no manager to escalate to, and no overseas overnight shift. Replies usually land the same day and always within one business day.

Why the AI carries her name

Because the words are hers. The chat was built out of Carrie's own answers so that a question at 11pm on a Sunday gets the same reply it would get from her on a Tuesday morning. Calling it something else would have hidden where the answers came from.

We thought about the alternative — quietly letting an AI pass for a person, the way plenty of sites do. We sell a product people put under their tongue every morning on the strength of trusting us. You'd find out eventually, and you'd be right to wonder what else we'd shaded. Easier to just say it: the bubble is a machine, the inbox is a person, and both are trying to give you the same honest answer.

Where you'll run into her

  • ·Your inbox. Order updates, tracking, and answers come from Carrie at botanCBD. Reply to any of them and a person here reads it.
  • ·Your review. Carrie reads every review before it goes live — including the ones that sting.
  • ·The chat bubble. That one's AI Carrie, with the handoff button sitting right there whenever you want a person instead.

Ask us something.

First-time buyer questions are our favorite kind. Nothing is too basic — most of us started out asking exactly the same things.
