Batch Number

Definition

A batch number identifies a specific production run of a CBD product. Batch numbers let you match a bottle to its specific COA.

Each production run of a CBD product is tested independently. The batch number printed on a bottle should match the batch number on the corresponding COA, letting you verify exactly what's in YOUR bottle — not a generic claim about the product line.

If a brand publishes only a single COA covering all production, that's a yellow flag. Per-batch COAs are the standard.
