10 Best CBD Oils of 2026: Tested, Ranked, Reviewed

Charlotte's Web is the brand that put hemp-derived CBD on the map. Their original full-spectrum oil is rigorously tested and well-formulated. We had them at $0.10–0.15 per mg in our June ranking and that is no longer right — they have cut hard. The 100mL Daily Care 60MG bottle is $214.99 for 6,000mg, or $0.036 per mg, within striking distance of our own top tier rather than 3–4× it. Re-checked September 21, 2026: unchanged, and $214.99 is the everyday price on charlottesweb.com with no sale attached, despite lower figures circulating elsewhere. One correction to our August write-up — we said Daily Care had absorbed the Original Formula naming, and it has not. Original Formula 50MG is still sold alongside it at $119.99 for 30mL and $214.99 for 100mL, which is $0.043 per mg on the big bottle. The small bottles are still where it hurts: the 510mg Daily Care 17MG is $44.99–$49.99, or $0.088–0.098 per mg. If you need THC-free, their Daily Care 25MG is $49.99 for 750mg — $0.067 per mg, against $0.0275 for botanCBD's top broad-spectrum tier. Buy Charlotte's Web big or not at all.

They publish detailed COAs and their broad-spectrum line is genuinely THC-free. We owe them — and you — a correction, and this one was our own fault. In August we said Joy's 2,250mg broad-spectrum bottle was $62.97, or $0.028 per mg, and called it effectively tied with botanCBD. That $62.97 was a third-party retailer's sale price against a $89.95 MSRP, and quoting it broke our own stated methodology of pricing brand-direct. Joy's everyday price on joyorganics.com, checked September 21, 2026, is $89.95 for the 2,250mg bottle — $0.040 per mg, about 45% above botanCBD's top tier rather than tied with it. The rest of the line is $34.95 for 450mg ($0.078/mg), $49.95 for 900mg ($0.056/mg), and $69.95 for 1,350mg ($0.052/mg); those are the new prices from a permanent reduction Joy announced in April 2026. Subscription takes 20% off. The ceiling is still the real structural difference: Joy stops at 2,250mg per bottle, so if you dose high you will be rebuying often. Their flavored line (orange bliss, tranquil mint, summer lemon) is well-reviewed.

Medterra carries the U.S. Hemp Authority seal and produces an isolate, broad-spectrum, and full-spectrum line. Their COAs are published per-batch. The catalog is now sold as Daily Relief (isolate), Enhanced Relief (broad spectrum), and Max Relief (CBD + THC, so it contains THC). Re-checked September 21, 2026, and the figures moved against them: a single bottle now runs $0.044–0.080 per mg, not the $0.038–0.065 we published in August. The best single-bottle value is the 3,000mg Daily Relief isolate at $132.99 ($0.044/mg); the broad-spectrum Enhanced Relief, which is the one to compare against botanCBD's THC-free line, is $64.99 for 1,000mg, or $0.065 per mg. The reason our old low end is gone is structural: Medterra now sells the same bottle in 30-, 60-, and 90-serving bundles, and the cheap per-mg math only appears if you buy three bottles at once ($279.28 for 9,000mg, or $0.031/mg). There is also a standing 25%-off promotion running on the tincture collection, which is where the advertised prices come from. Less flavor variety than the top three; reliable rather than exciting.

CBDistillery sells at scale and has long traded on being the value pick. That is now the weakest part of their case, and our August numbers overstated it — every figure below except the 5,000mg was wrong. Re-verified September 14, 2026 against their own catalog: the Relief & Relaxation full-spectrum line is $35 for 500mg, $60 for 1,000mg, $130 for 2,500mg, and $240 for 5,000mg, which is $0.048–0.070 per mg. The broad-spectrum (0% THC) line has no 500mg bottle at all — it opens at 1,000mg for $60 and runs to 2,500mg for $120. That puts them behind Lazarus, NuLeaf, Joy Organics and botanCBD on price, not ahead of them. They do publish COAs, and the 30%-off subscription is where the real price lives — it is the one thing that still makes them a value argument. Trade-off is taste (relatively bland), inconsistent flavor execution, and customer-service reviews that skew lower than the top of the list.

Credit where it is due: Lazarus's high-potency isolate is the cheapest CBD on this list and it is not close. Their 4oz (120mL) CBD Tincture is $120.00 for 6,000mg. Their high-potency 300mg/mL bottle is $60 for 9,000mg, or $0.0067 per mg, though that one is isolate rather than full spectrum. The $120 bottle price and the isolate figure are everyday list prices on lazarusnaturals.com, re-checked September 21, 2026 and unchanged since August, with no sale price attached — lower numbers you may see quoted for these bottles are subscription or promotional rates. Two things to know before you buy: the full-spectrum bottle is now simply called CBD Tincture, and there is a standing offer that drops the third tincture in your cart to half price, so the real math changes if you stock up. On top of that they run one of the only published assistance programs in the category (60% off for verified veterans, people with long-term disabilities, and low-income households, re-confirmed August 2026; a DD-214 or VA card gets a veteran approved in a day or two). The product is solid — full spectrum, U.S.-grown hemp, in-house manufacturing. If per-mg price is the only thing you are optimizing, buy Lazarus. They sit at #6 rather than higher because full spectrum means detectable THC, the 4oz format is a commitment, and their THC-free option is isolate rather than broad spectrum.

Cornbread sources from Kentucky hemp flower (no stalks, no biomass shortcuts) which produces a notably different cannabinoid profile. USDA Organic. We had them at ~$0.10 per mg; the current line is $74.99 for 1,500mg and $49.99 for 750mg, so $0.050–0.067 per mg — still the priciest tier of this list on a per-mg basis, but half again cheaper than we last reported. Re-checked September 21, 2026 against their own store: both prices unchanged. You are paying for the flower-only sourcing and a real story behind it. Direct geographic competitor to botanCBD — both family-owned, both Kentucky-adjacent.

NuLeaf was one of the first national CBD brands and built its reputation on selling essentially one thing. That is no longer strictly true — there is now a THC-free broad-spectrum bottle and CBN and CBG blends alongside the original full-spectrum oil — but the focus still shows in how consistent the product is. Our $112.23 figure was not a price NuLeaf charges; like the Joy Organics error above, we had picked it up from a retailer rather than the brand. Checked against NuLeaf's own store on September 21, 2026, the 100mL 6,000mg bottle is $124.70, or $0.021 per mg, under botanCBD's $0.0275. Lazarus's isolate is $0.0067 per mg. The number was wrong and now it is right. What is genuinely new is how NuLeaf sells. Pricing is now split into a 'non-member' price and a lower 'member' price, with membership advertised as free to join, and the gap is not small: the same 6,000mg bottle shows at $41.00 for members. We are publishing the non-member price because that is what you pay if you just buy the thing, but be aware the signed-in price is dramatically lower, and that NuLeaf's own pricing explainer page still lists an older, higher $249.00 for this bottle. Three different numbers for one bottle on one website is not a great look for a brand this established. Trade-off otherwise is unchanged: no flavored options, which puts off taste-sensitive users, and the small 900mg bottle is poor value at $0.064 per mg.

Aspen Green carries USDA Organic and describes the oil as vegan-friendly. It is Colorado-grown and full-spectrum. Our $0.12+ per-mg figure was badly out of date: their 3,000mg Extra bottle is $144.99, or about $0.048 per mg, and the 30%-off subscription takes it to $101.49, or $0.034 per mg. Re-checked September 21, 2026: unchanged. That moves them from 'expensive boutique' to 'fairly priced next to the figure we had been using'. Two trade-offs worth knowing. The rest of the range is priced well above the Extra bottle — the 50mg/mL Calm oil is $99.99 — so the per-mg figure that makes Aspen Green look reasonable only applies to one product. And their Relief oil was out of stock the day we checked, which is a recurring complaint about this brand.

Bluebird has been around since 2012 — among the longest-running U.S. CBD brands. The product is well-made and well-tested; the brand feels stuck in 2018 aesthetics. We owe a correction here, and it is a big one. In August we called Bluebird the cheapest bottle on this list at about $0.014 per mg, on a 6,000mg Max Strength bottle for $83.97. Re-checked against their own catalog on September 14, 2026, that bottle does not exist. Bluebird has reformulated: the line is now sold by serving strength rather than bottle total, Max Strength Hemp Oil is $119.95 at 200mg CBD per serving, and their cheapest CBD oil of any kind is $54.95. The Classic tincture runs $59.95 for the 10mg 2oz up to $179.95 for the 25mg 2oz, with the 25mg 1oz at $104.95 out of stock the day we looked. We are not publishing a per-mg figure for them, because selling by serving rather than by bottle total makes an honest cross-brand per-mg number impossible to calculate from what they publish — and we would rather say that than invent one. Reliable product; harder to price-compare than it used to be, and no longer cheap.
