CBD Isolate
Definition
CBD isolate is pure cannabidiol with all other cannabinoids and terpenes removed — typically 99%+ pure CBD.
Isolate is the most processed form of CBD. After extraction, the oil is winterized, distilled, and crystallized to remove everything except CBD molecules. The result is a fine white powder.
Isolate produces no entourage effect — there are no minor cannabinoids or terpenes left to interact with. It's cheap to manufacture and easy to dose precisely. Most commercial 'CBD gummies' use isolate. botanCBD does not currently sell isolate; we focus on full-spectrum and broad-spectrum products that retain the plant's natural compounds.
