The 30-minute window after the session

Most people who ask us about CBD after a workout want to know when. Our practical answer is a habit, not a biochemistry claim: take it in the half hour after you finish, with your shake or your water, so it becomes part of the cooldown and not one more thing to remember at 9 p.m.

Drops go under the tongue and stay there for a minute or so before you swallow. Our drops are hemp extract in organic coconut-derived MCT oil; we do not market them as nano CBD. Start with a half dropper of the 500mg bottle, which is roughly 8 mg, and work up to the 10–25 mg most adults start at. Talk to your doctor if you take medication.

Shower first, then the salve

If you use a topical, the order matters for the plain reason that skin should be clean and dry. Shower, towel off, then twist up the stick and rub it over the areas you worked. Our arnica salve stick is 750mg total-spectrum hemp extract plus Arnica montana, for skin only and never on broken skin.

It currently reads sold out, so think of this as a plan for when it is back, not something we can ship today. A topical stays on the skin and is not the same route as the drops. It is still total-spectrum with trace THC, so tested athletes should read their rulebook before using it.

An evening serving, if that is how your day runs

Plenty of people train late and want the CBD part of the day to sit near bedtime anyway. If that is you, the same THC-free drops work as an evening serving. Keep it the same size you have already tried, and do not stack a bigger one on top of the post-session serving just because the day was hard.

Our evening page walks through the routine around it. The short version: one consistent serving, same time most days, and a few weeks of notes on how you feel before you change anything.

If you are a tested athlete

Full-spectrum oil legally contains trace THC, and daily use can add up. Broad-spectrum is made with the THC removed, and our batch COA reads ND / <LOQ. Email us the batch number on your bottle and we send the matching PDF; it is also on request at /coas.

We cannot guarantee anyone's result. Your league, school, or governing body sets the rules, and they differ. Read them before you start, and ask the people who run your program.

Hydration and the rest of the routine

Water, food, sleep, and a proper cooldown do more for how you feel tomorrow than any bottle on a shelf. CBD is an add-on to that list, not a replacement for any of it, and we make no claim that it changes how you recover.

Research on CBD and exercise is early, and we have not read a study we would stand behind for a claim about your workout, so we are not going to cite one. What we can do is make the product honest: a clear label, a lab report, and a price per mg you can compare.

Also worth considering

Arnica Infused Organic CBD Salve Stick

The twist-up stick is the on-the-spot piece of the routine: 750mg total-spectrum hemp extract plus Arnica montana, skin only, never on broken skin. It currently reads sold out, so check the page before you plan around it.

FAQ

What is the best CBD for a post-workout routine?

For most people, THC-free broad-spectrum drops under the tongue within about 30 minutes of finishing. Our 500mg bottle is about 17 mg per full dropper, and most adults start at 10–25 mg. The salve stick is the on-the-spot add-on, but it currently reads sold out.

When should I take CBD after a workout?

Within roughly 30 minutes of finishing works as a habit anchor, alongside your shake or water. We are not claiming that window changes any result; it is just easy to repeat. Take it the same way most days.

Should I use drops or a salve after the gym?

They are different routes. Drops go under the tongue and are the part of the routine we would start with. A salve is applied to clean, dry skin on the areas you worked, never on broken skin. Our arnica salve stick currently reads sold out.

Is CBD okay for tested athletes?

Choose THC-free broad-spectrum and keep the batch COA, which reads ND / <LOQ for THC. We cannot guarantee a result, because rules and labs differ. Check your governing body's policy before you start.

How much CBD should I take after exercise?

Most adults start at 10–25 mg and stay there for a couple of weeks before changing. A half to one full dropper of our 500mg bottle covers that. Start low, go slow, and talk to your doctor if you take medication.

Do I need to drink more water with CBD?

Hydration belongs in any post-workout routine whether you use CBD or not. We make no claim that CBD changes how you hydrate or recover. Think of it as an add-on to water, food, and sleep.
